This procedure adds also a great amount of quality and fun to the game because you experience a acoustic feedback. Specially the goals sound so much nicer ;-) Also the ball can without glass fly high over the table and give the game much more dynamic. You just need an additional rule where the ball has to get back into the game if it leaves the table. Moving the table if the ball is out of reach is history.

All you need is a Philips screw driver (size 10).

Only on one end of the table the aluminum frame has on each side an extra spare outs where you get the glass out:

Open the two screws (one on each side) that hold the middle wood piece:

Get the wood piece out:

Pull the glass out:

If you want put the wood piece back:
